'A' land their first ever Rock & Metal No.1 with new album PRANG

We're incredibly proud to celebrate A reaching #1 on the UK Rock & Metal Chart with Prang - their first release in 21 years.

This achievement is a testament to the band's enduring creativity, energy and connection with fans old and new. It's also the result of a truly collaborative effort, and we're delighted to have played a part in bringing this record to life.

The band's manager, Pip Newby, reflected on the milestone:

"What a week it's been in A. If you'd have told 15-year-old Pip that he'd be in the Charts Office with A, celebrating their first release in 21 years and a Rock & Metal Number 1, he definitely wouldn't have believed you. To be honest, 39-year-old Pip is having trouble believing it too.

Working with Cooking Vinyl on this release has been amazing, and so much of this result belongs to Tom Newman, Rob Collins, Ryan Cahalin and the rest of the CV team. This campaign has been a textbook example of smart, cost-effective marketing and audience reinvigoration; we couldn't have hoped for a better home for Prang, and the band and I are very excited for what the future holds. How ace is music?"
